The forty foot boxcar was once the most common of freight cars, today they are extinct.  And you could often find an older car that had gone a long time without going through the paint shop.  This fifty year old car was in Ingersoll yard in 1989, the scrawled message shows that the baseball fans haven't changed much since then.
