The former TH&B #74, rebuilt the previous year in CP's Angus Shops as 1684 makes a two car drop at the International Nickel (INCO) Refinery in Port Colborne. Four years after Electrolytic Nickel production ended at the refinery, the plant was still producing Nickel Shot, Nickel Foundry products, Cobalt, and Precious Metals. CP retained running rights into Port Colborne until the end of 1988.
