The first VIA F40PH-2 to be rebuilt and upgraded. This unit's apprearance differed from the subsequent rebuilds. Seen here leading J-train 52/40 at Cobbledick Road, Newcastle, ON (CN Clarke East, Kingston sub) on February 23rd, 2007. The unit was wrecked just over 3 years later on February 25th, 2010 and retired soon thereafter.

  2. That’s part of the equipment for onboard wi-fi.

  3. Technology changes quick. Those huge antennas are now obsolete :)
