Minnedosa is a great location with a rich railway history. Trains in the “classic era” needed helpers in both directions and the yard was a only joined to the main at it’s east end because the grades in both directions started right by the station.
I actually went there as I had heard that CP was using the FM Trainmasters as helper units. That may have been true at one time, but unfortunately I did not find any of them. Thanks for the comment.
