The eastbound "Canadian" hiballs past the unused Whitemouth station east of Winnipeg. CP had left hand running on it's double track between Winnipeg and Thunder Bay. This was due to 2nd track constructed around 1912 to the north of existing line and had grade separated segments to ease grades for primarily loaded eastbound tonnage
