The CN ET44AC big GEs. I'm tired of them. Even in 2015 it took a bit to get me to rustle myself out into the cold to bother with these. Bitter wind on the Maple Av bridge in Grimsby gave me second thoughts about shooting these new arrivals after already catching them in Merritton. But, what the heck. I persevered. Power is CN 2639, 2501, 5547, 3029, 3028, 3025, 3026 and 3027.

  1. I would tend to agree. They’re just a bit too prolific and too assuredly powerful. Much prefer the aesthetics of the second and third unit. :-) Nice shot, nevertheless !

  2. Thanks. There is something to be said among fans in regards to 4 old SDs thundering up a grade as opposed to a behemoth or two just up and gliding over it. The excitement is gone.

  3. Somewhere in this desk I have a GE eraser!

  4. I too got tired of the new arrivals quickly, nice angle though and a spot I have yet to try.
