  1. My late uncle who was a dispatcher for CP in Winnipeg told me that during the “grain rush”,
    they would temporarily have a fellow sent to Binscarth to give train orders to keep all the extra traffic moving. for the longest time, there was a CP hexagonal water tank there which had an odd “cut out” on the track side of the building….I never did discover why.

  2. I may have a picture of that water tank, but it will be like looking for a needle in a hay stack and I don’t know which of my hay stacks to look in. Thanks for the comments.
