That new-engine smell... Brand new CP GP20C-ECO #2253 has been assigned to the Quebec street yard job for the past two days in place of GP9 #8238. Initial impression seems to be mixed, as last night's T-69 was delayed leaving the yard when the new unit wouldn't load and wouldn't release the brakes. If you ask me, they are neat to look at, but don't have the charm of the old geeps. One has to wonder if 8246 senses that its' end is near...
