I like the new numberboards and their larger numerals. For me, it compliments the standard cab (& the red paint) very well. Good action photo JK.

Nice to see someone pull this shot off! I have been wanting to do nearly the same shot after my first failed attempt, where seeing T29 with a decent cut of cars back three years ago, was ruined due to my inability to focus in time and capture it’s surprisingly quick pace!! Other attempt was chasing a rather large 141 through the countryside, finally having to give up chase down dirt roads at 120km/h, which finally using better judgment was not getting me that further ahead of the train. Still hope to make it back here someday, and have the steel gods give me a new angle now! Great lighting, great scene, very well done Jamie!
Thanks Todd. Yeah, despite its many wide open angles, many searchlights, and many interesting rural landmarks to incorporate into shots, the Windsor Sub isn’t ideal. It’s lack of trains and 60 MPH track sure make it tough to justify a trip. Kind of a “one shot wonder” haha. I did choose Glencoe for a few reasons – open angle, the elevator, and the fact that with this being a rare spot where a road (CPR Drive) parallels the tracks for a bit I figured I’d have a crack at a second shot, and I was indeed able to get them again east of Bothwell. After that, lost cause.
