Strathroy in the rain. Lacking better judgement I made a trip over to Durand, MI to shoot around the area. It was raining so hard even the swamp rats went into hiding. So in order to salvage something out of the trip, I stopped at some stations on my way back home.
Thankful that I did. Caught CN 4373 and 4505 rolling eastward past this historic station, and it would turn out to be the last time I saw this beautiful structure before some young vandals, I believe, burned it down in 2004.
So many stations have succumbed to fire. Real shame.
