Caption: Stone Arch Tunnel, dated 1877. Located on the former Great Western Railway mainline, between St. George and Paris Junction. This was built to allow the farmer, who owned the land, access to his fields to the south.
This line was built in 1853, the line was closed by Canadian National in 1932 and the rails lifted, from Paris to St. George in 1938.
