Caption: Soaring high above the Big Otter Creek, the last OSR train, and possibly the last train ever, crosses over the huge trestle in Tillsonburg. 1253' in length, not only does it cross the river valley, but it is seen here passing over the "Bridges at Tillsonburg" golf course. OSR really knew how to go out in style with these covered wagons. Well done.

Just that subdivision or is OSR closing completely?
OSR discontinued service on the Cayuga subdivision. Their lines to Woodstock, St. Thomas and Tillsonburg (former CPR lines) are still thriving and doing well. In fact, the Port Burwell sub is now getting most the former Tillsonburg CNR traffic for transload to local customers so they’ve never been better.
Very nice, Stephen.
Thanks Earl.
GIO Rail reopened the line, so this was not the last train
