Seven units on 451! All four axle power: 9417 – 9536 – 9618 – 9481 – 5517 – 4453 – 4526 with head end caboose 7978X power the extra long CN 451 cruising through Gravenhurst on a rather contrasty late afternoon in August 1979. Along with 4531 had a head on collision with 3725 and 4457; repaired and returned to service rebuilt to GP9RM 4025 in 1984 retired 1998. 4025 GP9RM sold to Cando Contracting 1999 renumbered CEMR 4001 used on Central Manitoba Railway (former CN Pine Falls Subdivision, north east of Winnipeg MB); 4526 GP9 built 1956 rebuilt to GP9RM 4028 in 1984 in CN service,
Questions: Today, status of that VIA sign? And status of the station given the September 2012 demise of the Northlander?
