Saw this train while on the QEW near Jordan, thought it was interesting with the GP9 4483 leading the GP40. Not rare, but unusual; so drove up to Dundas to grab a shot. Typical damp dull miserable February weather, but the image came out not too bad.

  1. I really like how you managed to get the caboose in the shot and your car too. Along with the clean extra flag and well-shovelled platform, it all adds up to a fantastic image of a wonderful bygone era.

  2. Many thanks. I certainly agree with you about the “wonderful bygone era”. It is a sad feeling knowing times like this are gone forever. I look at these scenes and wish so much that I cold relive them. Photos are the only way.
