Ryan Gaynor's recent pic inspired me to upload some a Trillium picture. Trillium 1859 is seen here returning back from servicing a few industries in St Catharines, and preparing to head back to Welland. This was taken one year ago today, and I'd much rather have the weather in this photo, as I recall it being decently warm, and at least sunny.

  1. Excellent sun for that black paint job. Nicely done photo. The 1859 looks swell. :-)

  2. It’s sometimes tricky to shoot 1859 because of lighting, I was lucky this time. Thank you! :D

  3. I cannot believe how barren it looks around the old CN yard location these days. So much for prosperity!

  4. In this shot, we can see the new Merritt Street bridge – in the distance behind the train. You can compare it to the bridge seen in A.W. Mooney’s shot from 1999.

  5. I feel ya Arnold. I hate to shoot here in the winter when there’s no snow because of how bare it looks.
