Relatively young at the time, photography wise, I was able to catch STER pick up some cars presumably from CN to bring to Tillsonburg. I do don't know much about this run or how often it was, but I'm just glad I was able to witness an operation no longer around

  1. Good catch there young man. One of the rare ex CN HR412′s. The HR part of course did not happen, but it was nice to see and run one of these classic MLW’s

  2. STER ran about three days a week ex Tillsonburg around 0800-0900 for St Thomas and return (if sunny, it was mostly a backlit run).

I’m not sure how Delhi and Courtland were serviced though, either tacked onto the St. Thomas run (before or after) or if they ran extra jobs for it.

  3. Nice shot! Do you know where these units went to?

  4. Units went to Trillium’s Port Colborne Harbour Railway operation out of Welland.

  5. .. and both are out of service.
