Caption: Railroading as it used to be!!! A CP westbound freight passes the Sudbury, Ontario station on June 13, 1970. The operator has already hooped up the orders to the tail end brakeman riding on the leading end of the caboose, the conductor is about to hand off the register ticket to the operator, the railroad police officer has decided that there is nothing out of the ordinary on the train, the other railroaders are contemplating getting back to work after the train passes, and finally, I have no idea who the other railfan was. Simpler times.
