580′s power didn’t proceed down the Burford Spur to Ingenium did they Terry? I was just looking yesterday at Ingenium on Google Earth and there’s a good load cars down there. Even a cut at 8 at the stub end tracks that lead to the past the station beyond. That many cars seems a lot for a track mobile as Ingenium has been using. Is it possible?
The rail line is owned by Ingenia Polymers and they contract operations and maintenance of the rail line out, in 2018 to Allied Track Services.

Brad, I was at Mile 23 at the time, based on what I overheard on the radio 580 spotted the cars at the derail which is on the north side of Grey St., then returned to the yard.
@Steve – most likely to move the Burford Spur off of Clarence St., south of Colborne St. Track would be aligned along the boulevard rather than across the traffic lanes.
Wild That won’t be a cheap project. They must have plans or a need to re-build Clarence St. There’s talks of roundabouts, but most of the discussions are behind closed session of council.
No room for a roundabout there
So that project wouldn’t be on Ingenium’s wallet obviously.
Still amazed a wee trackmobile handles all those cars!
