Protecting the approach to Puslinch siding, these signals were installed in the 1940's to aid in the war effort, and were removed by 2016. Refurbished only 3 years prior, CP 6228 former SOO 6018 splits these sentinels as they speed down the Galt mainline. The stretch between Puslinch and Killean is particularly well known to be a bit of a racetrack.

  1. I like the pointy tops on the signal masts. The mileages seem a little crazy. That doesn’t look 0.1 of a mile between those 2 signals.

  2. The pointy tops seems to indicate age of signal too – these are usually the older installations that have not been since replaced. Either way many of these disappeared, but the project seems to have stalled again
