Caption: Passengers on VIA Rail's southbound VIA 692 The Hudson Bay get to enjoy some of the fresh, crisp air on the platform of the majestic station in Dauphin, MB on this beautiful March 18, 2023 afternoon.
The former CN station now houses the Dauphin Railway Museum as evidenced by some of the artifacts visible outside the building, such as the wheelset benches and switch stand at the near end of the photo, and the CN PSC caboose on display at the far end.
The buffer car tacked on to the end of this iconic train is no longer, as the order for that requirement has been removed in recent weeks.
I look forward to my next Winnipeg to Churchill and return adventure in October of this year, and, having a clear view of the track and scenery straight out the rear of my sleeping car vestibule. :-)

It truly is a majestic building.
Nice station shot. An equipment guy must have designed the bench.
Wow ! What a wonderful station structure, complete with a turret no less ! Very nice to see a silver dome car stopped in front of the station. It is great to hear this station is used /occupied by the Duaphin Railway Museum which hopefully will help with the up-keep, maintenance. Thanks for sharing John
