Wow… the ‘caboose’ is rather interesting too

I’ll wager there is a broken drawbar on the box car!!

And yes, passenger engines do pull freight trains from time to time.

I agree with First954.About the broken drawbar.
I have commneted on other photos here about having passenger power on late night freight run between Mimico & Oshawa in 1973, when I worked for a short time on CN, before going “offside” to CP.
