Out at Newtonville for an afternoon's train-watching. Pity the dull weather, but it was nice to see a few of the old workhorses in action. Here a pair of MLW M-636 locos, 2316 and 2323, create a smoky haze as they power a train eastbound.

    SPFE/UPFE cars up front make this 392.

    The automobiles on that tri-level will sure be exhaust soot covered by the time they reach their destination!

    I wonder how much a corrupt employee would take for tickets to ride in the cars up top… whole new meaning to park car! Nice shot
