Ottawa Central was testing out this unit and it is working the CP interchange pulling loads out and about to start its journey back to Ottawa. They did not end up purchasing this unit and continued to use the RS-18u as their main power.

    Actually, that unit wasn’t testing, it was on loan to OCR, from a sister QRC company, the Sydney Coal Railway (SCR). Several of their RS18′s were experiencing issues during that time and were OOS.
