OSR's St. Thomas turn has just finished work in the former CPR formet yard in St. Thomas and just reversed over the CNR Cayuga subdivision diamond. The crew is seen approaching the Wabash transfer to fetch the rest of their train then head west into St. Thomas proper to work the yard there where they'll give me a few tries at the Tresle, for me , the first time with matching OSR painted F units. I wonder how many times Wabash F7's worked the Wabash Transfer in their 30 or so years of service in Canada. I love posting shots like this on blistering hot days, reminds of the cold we sometimes complain about. Looks good now doesn't it :)

  1. Yes, good looking image. Must say I would take a day like this one any time that the hot miserable humid days Sou Ontario seems to be getting well known for. Must be the “age thing”. I can’t take the humidity any more. Looking at scenes like this is therapeutic.:o)

  2. Same. Why i post one of these a year from this outing. 6 more to go heehhehe

    Tx eh
