Caption: OSR's daily way freight rolls southbound through downtown Guelph with venerable MLW power, 20 cars, and the little yellow van. At left we can see the River Run Center Theater and Concert Hall. In front of the theater you will see an old stone wall. This is the last remaining piece of the CPR Guelph freight shed. The freight shed once stood where the theater currently sits, but was destroyed by fire in 1991. (http://riverrun.ca/our-story/history/) The remainder of the front wall was moved slightly south, where it still stands today.
Note the railings leading out of frame from the path at right (the original CPR Goderich Sub main), they lead onto a small jetty built over the speed river.
I got a shot of OSRX 8235, OSRX 1210 southbound from the jetty last August: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=20394
