Caption: Orders on the Fly.......station agent at CP Bolton holds orders on the hoop for southbound CP 4736, 8594 as it roars past the depot. Station is long gone now, and I hope I have positioned its location correctly. Bolton is no longer the cowfield I remember it as. There is a story circulating amongst the older CP agents, most now retired, of a certain agent who was not very well liked. He worked out of a location currently popular with railbuffs. When he handed up the orders, the crewman would grab hoop and all, retrieve the flimsies off the hoop and throw the hoop where inclined, usually in a puddle or in the bush; causing the agent to go for a hike. It paid station personnel to keep the nose clean back then and NOT ruffle any feathers.......
