Caption: One of the last two SD40-2's in Grand Trunk Western blue paint (most were repainted CN or disposed of), GTW 5937, glows in the setting sun under the Bramalea Road bridge. Trailing a CN SD75i on X392, they're awaiting the signal at Halwest before proceeding east.
This one took some waiting for, as its arrival was delayed a number of hours by a power swap between an ailing westbound and this extra run of 392. The whole 2+ hour Georgetown GO rush passed by before X392 made an appearance. Luckily, they gave another one of their units away to the other train and kept 5937, which (also luckily) ended up stopped here for a better photo. Normally stopping under a bridge would be a bad thing for lighting, but at this point the sun had gone down so far that it crept underneath and lit the unit up. Go figure.
