One of the few times where I saw the Muskeg Mixed reduced to a cabhop from a lack of cars. Taken a couple of miles north of Egremont at 19:30.

  1. This is great!

  2. Thanks everyone.
This photo was a fence sitter for quite awhile with the chase car down in front (and poles). But, it has a beetle in the consist and cabhop to boot. Took a chance. :-)

  3. Pretty neat…and the Iconic Bug makes it

  4. They were a great chase car on all the gravel roads in the Redwater area. Snow or gravel, they were very sure footed.

  5. Looks like a 69 or 70.I spent over 25 years with VW.

  6. After 20+ years and 5 different beetles, I decided that VW was the way to go and bought a new diesel rabbit. The worst car I ever owned. After just a couple of years, the crankcase oil and diesel fuel leaks started. By 5 years it was replaced, great gas mileage, but, no heat in winter and a long empty stretch was required on the highway to pass anyone.
