Caption: One doesn't get giddy with excitement about a whole lot of things on the rails in Southern Ontario. That would change in a hurry if 6060 came back east, but I digress. having seen UP 5109 trailing on 238 48 hours ago, and knowing NS doesn't wye power in Buffalo, I got a little giddy with the idea that 5109 might lead on the return. But it didn't happen. It stayed in Buffalo. But this morning it traced in Hamilton, so the game was back on. Sure enough, late this afternoon the signals show something coming up the hill from Hamilton going west. Could it be? 4th time in my life I've seen a UP leading on CP, and only the second westbound, 239 flies into Galt headed for London. The hobby is alive again.
