Caption: On our trip to Parry Sound last Monday we only were able to catch two northbounds on the CP trestle over the Seguin River. The first was a short manifest and just shy of two hours later this long stack train with three GEs up front and another as DPU about 2/3rds of the way back. this one snuck up on me as I was sitting on a picnic table in the shade. Judy had gone off wandering somewhere and left me in charge of 250-odd pounds of canine mighty hunters (their opinion, not necessarily the truth). When I finally did hear the train it was almost on the trestle. I grabbed the leashes and took off running to get to the docks along the river's edge for a clean view but the dogs both wanted to catch whatever it was I was chasing too. Unfortunately they both had different opinions as to what direction that mystery thing would be, and I got tripped up in the mayhem and only made it halfway there by the time I had to either make the shot or miss it. I knew there was no way I would get around the mooring lagoon in the foreground so I settled for this shot, although I would have preferred not to have the parking lot showing. Boats, river and a lighthouse would have made for a better foreground than cars and concrete! Oh well, ya can't win 'em all...
