Caption: On my first visit (by CN Super Continental from Vancouver) to Edmonton, a local railfan took my friend and me to CP’s station at South Edmonton one evening, just after No. 303 had arrived from Calgary. A good thing, as when we went to depart on No. 302 with the same RDC CP 9113 the next morning, the place was blanketed in snow.
Today, that depot still stands, no longer a passenger train terminal, and the CP track no longer extends north another two miles to downtown Edmonton, but just across Whyte Avenue in the distance is now the south terminus of the Edmonton High Level Bridge Streetcar line operated by the Edmonton Radial Railway Society.
