On a rare Sunday operation, BCRY 1001 has just pushed a number of short 40 foot hoppers into the Penetang Spur for storage. In 2019 this spur was packed with tankcars which became surplus when oil prices tanked. With North American rail traffic presently down due to the Covid-19 virus, unused railcars have to be put somewhere, and shortline trackage is often the perfect place.

    Very nice picture Steve, a great 3/4 view of the short end of a colourful GP. Glad to see freight cars are being stored on the Penetang Spur which hopefully will help the financial bottom line for the BCRY. Is that a tank car way in the back ground on the left ? Is it still in storage from 2019 ? Many thanks
