Caption: On a day fitting the occasion, NS train 328 crosses southern Ontario for the last time. Units 9554 and 8373 pass the Ingersoll station, exercising trackage rights over Grand Trunk lines dating from March 1898. 15 years ago, CN had won the contract for Talbotville Ford traffic but it was a short lived victory--that plant closed in September 2011. The Ingersoll station itself (dating from the late 1880s) was demolished on December 7, 2020.
