Oh wouldn't you know it, a late winter 'snowstorm' started up as I waited out VIA's dinner-hour #75 westbound thru the Junction on an April 8th.an otherwise gloomy afternoon. The snow actually enhances the scene. I have recorded VIA 6524, 6659 and 6637 but omitted the last unit, a CN. Oh well. Car count a bit obscured by the fresh snow. Current railfans' hangout, the walkbridge, is barely visible in the background.

  1. Not bad, not bad ol’ man. Typical Friday or (in this case) Sunday consist/lashup for this train.
Second unit is MLW 6859, just sayin’ …

  2. Thanks, BEM’r, fellow geezer, for the correction.

  3. Classic Arnold Mooney……………Weather!
And you thought I was gonna say lashup?

  4. Amazing, eh? The clouds got there before I did.

  5. You’ve got some brass ones to be shooting out in a snowstorm Mr. Mooney.

Still great as usual. And educational as well.

  6. Awh….I know you’re ‘razzing’ me. Some snowstorm!! Of course in THIS day and age, yes, I would be foolish…….the odd flake falls and everyone piles up on the highways. The days of 99% sanity on the roads are long gone. It is down to about 65% now. :o )
