Caption: Of all the ad wraps on VIA's locomotives, the Kool Aid graced the most; having covered 10 units. But the promotion was so short-lived in the summer of 2000 that most were gone before fans realized they were in place. Early summer they adorned units 6404,05,06,11,24,32,33,39,53 and 54. By fall they were all gone. This image of KoolAid 6411 out front of the Niagara Falls VIA station was one of only a few I saw. The ad promotion was interesting, colourful, and gave fans something to watch for when the scanners chirped out that another passenger train was on the way. I always wanted to see a wrap featuring "Timmies", with a big donut on the nose. Although we did see Home Hardware, Telus, CBC, Spiderman, Pepsi and Loto Quebec among others over the years, alas.....no Timmies.

Thanks for the explanation; I hadn’t realized they had so many units wrapped. I believe the one I caught was 6411 also.
Other wraps that Arnold did not mention include, Operation Life Saver, Budweiser, Coors Light and CFL. Let’s hope for more because they sure do make Via more interesting!
