I worked there in 1971,there were 5 of them scrapped in the yard that we used for parts to fix the others.

I think 3663 was one of the others and there was a GP9??
I wouldn,t know,i was there only a few months.
Prior to July 1971, 11 of the London-built F7′s had been retired, and are shown as being trade-ins to EMD (LaGrange IL) for N&W GP40′s. None of those were renumbered from their Wabash 3-digit numbers (600s).

After July 1971, the remaining painted and renumbered units such as those in this photo, were slowly retired ( or in the case of 3659 and 3726, wrecked), until the final remaining London-built Wabash F7, 3725, was retired in Sept1979.
The 3671 survives at Mad River & NKP museum, Bellevue OH; and 3725 is at the Monticello IL museum.
