I am under the impression, and I could be wrong, that N&W and CN both had yard jobs around this time, including staff/clerks, where in later years, CN did all the yard (and local) work and NS hooked and hauled from Talbotville yard.
St Thomas Would have been a really neat place back then – considering what was downtown at the time
I should ask – did you run into the former Wabash F units around this time? I understand they lasted until the early 80′s..
No unfortunately i never seen the Wabash units and missed the blue N&W F units as well. Was working nights in London and that messed up the rail fanning.
Thanks. Perhaps they were gone by ’80.
