  1. Great catch! And what complicated times… the leader clearly has an “NS” under the number, indicating it is owned by NS, but you are right, it is still CR 6770, a Conrail unit, while the trailing unit has been patched and is NS 3331, a Norfolk Southern unit in Conrail paint!

  2. It’s still shocking how Conrail paint was completely eliminated while so many others survive to this day.
