I loved this train but they always wyed so the newest thing usually led. You rarely got the junk leaders despite how badly we wanted them.
Wow, that’s a nice colourful lash up for NS back then.
It was only a couple times I saw a four unit lashup, usually 328 would take something from 344/343 back or sometimes they would run an extra O99 and have an extra set to take back.
However, what gets me going in this is the trailing unit – what is it?
Very nice! That trailing unit looks like LRCX 9519 from the Livingston Rebuild Center in the old NP shops in Livingston, MT.

LRCX rebuilt and leased a few dozen old GEs back in the late 90′s and early 00′s.
