219 was the great “follow-up” of the nightly 3 hotshots (221 to Winnipeg, 217 to Vancouver). It was mostly empty bulkhead flats for Prince George and west, and just a few high priority “Forwarder” box cars. They left Mac Yard at 1,2 and 330 am and everyone watched them closely for schedule.
A “catch all” high priority train you say. Interesting.
#359 would usually be the train with the majority of the bulk-head flats, but I guess that came out of Winnipeg (from loaded cars that went to Chicago?)
