Northbound Buffalo to Toronto CP 5836, NRE 5462 and CEFX 1028 rolling thru Fenwick, approximately mile 27 as it comes up to Canboro Rd crossing. Of interest in this locomotive consist is the middle unit. An NRE SD50u Demonstrator, on loan for evaluation by CP beginning October 2007. (anyone know for how long?) The unit was Conrail 6808, then in the breakup of CR it went to NS, renumbered 5462. Sold to NRE and upgraded with new technology. This was a hard unit to catch. And in this case, was seen completely by surprise. Nice paint scheme!!
