Nice sunny morning image of the TH&B 56 sitting outside the roundhouse on Chatham St near Aberdeen. This unit, built in 1950; was one of four SW9 switchers on the TH&B roster at the time. It was retired in 1988.

  1. 1978 and still sporting a handrail along the body. Couldn’t have been many switchers left with handrails like that.
