Interesting piece of old equipment.
Yikes, look how high the steps and grab irons are ! I wouldn’t want to be getting on this thing on the fly.
Also interesting is there is no CN logo of any type on it…guess you knew which railway the equipment belonged to by the colour of the vans…?
Or the “C.N” right next to the number.
Or the “CN” logo right above the number on the end of the car.
Or the faded outline of a CN logo below the cupola.
Sister car CN 56323 is right there today at the Niagara Railway Museum. That’s a lot of flangers CN once owned.
