New railway, old power! In late 2012, a new railway was born in the La Beauce region ; Chemin de fer Sartigan. They bought their first engine, an MLW RS18u, in January 2013 from Durbin and Greenbrier Valley Railroad. Originally, that RS18u was in the CP roster when that engine was built in July 1958. Here, on the picture, 55 years later, the old warrior smokes a nice puff while the conductor protect the crossing with a red flag.

See the little history of that engine... Nee-CP 8793, exxxx-CP 1828, exxx-OCRR 1828, exx-GRYR 1828, ex-DGVR 1828, now CFS 1828.
