Caption: My family needed someone to run to the Niagara area today, so knowing 4410 was around I volunteered and added a generous amount of wiggle room to my travel time. I have a rough idea of a typical day for TE11 (switching Welland Yard, transfer run to Trillium at Feeder and CN at Southern Yard, and some more puttering around the yard), so I tried to time it such that I'd be there for the run back from interchange at CN Southern Yard. Pictured here, SOO 4410 leads CP TE11 on the CN Stamford Sub, over top of the CP Hamilton Sub on its way back to Welland Yard. You can see the tops of autoracks currently stored in Rusholme Siding at both bottom left and right. The tanks and hoppers in tow appear to all be for Innophos in Port Maitland, which CP TE21 visits twice a week on Tuesday and Friday nights (or Wednesday and Saturday mornings depending how you want to look at it). On this day they set off at Feeder and made no lift there, and brought seven or so tanks/hoppers from Innophos back to CN at Southern Yard and lifted the 20 or so pictured.

Looks and sounds worn… CN RTC couldn’t even hear them over how loud it was.
