Caption: Most of the Clearwater Sub is difficult, at best, to photograph. This is one location that can be seen in the middle of nowhere (actually, a few kilometers east of Vavenby. For the most part the stretch of highway from Kamloops to the Yellowhead Pass is for doing miles as quickly as you dare. At this spot, the view opens as the tracks cross the North Thompson River, making for a fine view of a westbound Sulphur train.
