I understand that later in life the locomotive got a “Nose-Job” to improve visibility. I’m wondering if perhaps the view would have been better if they had simply removed the paper shown in this image from the cab window. Am I seeing what I think I’m seeing??
I really liked the look of the alligators on the American railroads. With a good nose job, the 8921 would certainly have the same neat appearance.
Now, can you pass me one of those Benson and Hedges 100′s. Oops, you meant the Players plain. Sorry. :-O
