Caption: Miserable snowy day in early winter, but it still did not discourage me from wandering around to see what was happening trackside. In Hamilton's Stuart St yard the locals had been working.......I don't believe these were based here at the time but rather came in from Aldershot and beyond. And perhaps 'overnighted'. CN 8600 and 8603, nice pair of S-13s, of which these two, which were soon renumbered to 300 and 303 according to my trackside guide for 1983. Information other than what is in the guide would certainly be appreciated.
