Caption: Mile 160.5 on the BC Rail Lillooet sub, a few miles north of Lillooet BC. An impressive structure crossing the mighty Fraser River. On BC Rail, from Kelly Lake to North Vancouver all mile boards were displayed in whole miles and also half miles such as seen in this image, mile 160.5. The half miles came in handy for the track patrols running ahead of trains as well as for MoW slow orders etc. Other points along the way, bridges, permanent slow orders, major culverts etc etc would have a two point decimal mileage associated.
