  1. During this timeframe, train 478 was the preferred choice for new engine deliveries. I show 478 on Jan 3-68 with 5026-5027, shown in my notes as ‘new’.
    On Jan 11-68 I have 5028-5029 on 478.
    So this should help with your dating ( slides that is, not the social activity…)
